Di esel Forklift Driver: Dixon , IL

Our customer in Dixon, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Diesel Forklift Drivers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Diesel Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift, moving materials, and assisting in various warehouse duties to support production.

Responsibilities of the Diesel Forklift Driver :

• Operate a forklift to move, locate, and load/unload materials
• Ensure accuracy in order selection, stacking, and inventory organization
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse area
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping goals

Diesel Forklift Driver Requirements and Qualifications:

• Forklift experience required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Forklift certification preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a warehouse is a plus
• Metatarsal boots issued on first day of employment

Pay for Diesel Forklift Driver : Starting at $16.00/hour.
