Job Title: Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Location: Laurel, MD

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Shifts: AM & PM (8-12 hour shifts)

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operators to join our team at an Ice Cream facility. This position involves operating a stand-up forklift in a cold storage environment to assist in the movement of raw materials and finished products. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided to ensure safety and comfort in the cold facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-up forklift to transport and organize materials within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Safely and efficiently move raw materials and finished goods.
• Follow all safety protocols in a cold storage environment.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of stand-up forklift experience (certification preferred).
• Ability to work in a cold storage environment for extended periods.
• English proficiency required; bilingual candidates are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
